Rest assured that we have been working diligently to safely reopen the salon. As a client of Blade Salon, your health and safety are our number one priority! Although we have always exceeded the standards of our health department, we have all taken time during this closure to take courses online to make sure we are doing everything possible to keep everyone safe. As a result of this you will notice some changes when you book an appointment, as well as while you are at the salon.
Prior to your appointment please review the rolling questions. If you answer yes to any of the questions please reschedule your appointment for a later date.
- Have you been showing any signs of being unwell? Cough? Sore throat? Fever? Etc.
- To the best of your knowledge have you been exposed to anyone showing signs of Covid-19 or who has tested positive for Covid-19?
Please do not arrive early for your appointment. We may have to ask you to wait outside until your appointment time depending on the capacity of the salon. We have removed most of the waiting room chairs to adhere to social distancing, as well as we will only be using every other stylist chair to keep appropriate distance apart.
Please come alone to your appointment, do not bring friends, children or other guests. If you require a caregiver they will be permitted to assist you but they may be asked to wait outside until you are finished with your appointment.
When you arrive at the salon, please wear a mask, preferably one that just goes around your ears, not around the back of your head as you will be required to wear it for the duration of your service. If you do not have a mask to wear, one will be provided for you. All of the staff will also be wearing masks and other PPE as necessary depending on the service being provided.
We have a sanitizing station set up in the front entrance of the salon, we ask that you please sanitize your hands, as well as use a disinfecting wipe to wipe down your phone and anything else you are taking inside with you.
Please keep your distance from staff and other clients. There will be no physical contact other than what has to do with the service being provided. We have missed you as much as you’ve missed us, but please do not hug us this time!
We have removed all magazines and other hard to disinfect items from the salon.
We will not be providing beverages at this time. If you wish to bring one with you, you will be required to take your waste with you when you leave your appointment.
We will be booking extra time between clients as we will be thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting between each client. As well as increasing our frequency with which we clean and disinfect high touch surfaces such as door knobs, countertops, chairs, bathrooms, etc.
We ask that you refrain from touching retail products. If you need assistance one of our well educated staff would be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
While we recognize that some of these protocols may seem over the top and uncomfortable, we are committed to doing everything we can to keep our clients and staff as safe as possible. We ask for your cooperation and patience during this time as we do our best to adjust to our new way of providing you with the best possible service, and we thank you for your continued support as we navigate the new normal.
